Aster Volunteers, in partnership with a local NGO, organized a memorable day for 17 children from a migrant laborers' colony in Kochi. These children, who had previously been unable to attend school, were recently enrolled in a nearby government school with the assistance of the NGO. The initiative aimed to provide them with a day of joy and new experiences. The day began with a visit to Pothys, Kerala's largest textile showroom, where the children were able to select new clothes and shoes. This was followed by an exciting ride on the Kochi Metro, offering them a thrilling urban experience. The day continued with a scenic boat ride at Aster Medcity campus, complemented by a delicious lunch. The primary goal of this initiative was to build connections with underprivileged communities and bring happiness into their lives.By providing them with opportunities to explore and enjoy new experiences, Aster Volunteers and the collaborating NGO aimed to create lasting memories and contribute positively to the children's well-being and development.
