Aster Volunteers in collaboration with Aster Medcity successfully organized a Mega Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program for NCC cadets in association with the 21 Kerala Battalion NCC, Ernakulam.The program was held at St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam, with participation from cadets representing multiple units across the district. The training featured an interactive awareness session followed by hands-on modules. A total of 482 NCC cadets received practical training in critical life-saving techniques, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and choking management. The sessions were conducted on mannequins under the direct supervision of certified medical professionals from Aster Medcity. The initiative aimed to equip young cadets with essential first-response skills, empowering them to act confidently during medical emergencies and contribute meaningfully to community safety.
