Miloni
Baby Miloni, a 2-year-old was admitted at Aster Medcity with severe necrotising pneumonia. She was admitted and mechanically ventilated at our Pediatric ICU.
The destroyed lobe of her right lung was removed by a surgical procedure. She improved and was successfully weaned off the ventilator.
Her father is a welder and is the only breadwinner of the family. ASK supported significantly for Miloni’s treatment.
Iza Mariyam
Iza Mariyam, 11-month-old baby was admitted with severe seizures due to acute encehpalopathy.
The child had a long stay and medical management at our Pediatric ICU at Aster Medcity.Her joint family is situated in 12 cents of land at interior Ponnani, in Malappuram .
Her father is an auto driver and is the only earning member of the family

Ansiya K Vinoy
Ansiya K Vinoy, a 5-year-old girl was diagnosed with choledochal cyst. She underwent a laparoscopy removal of the cyst by the Pediatric Surgery services at Aster Medcity.
The family of 6 live in a partly constructed house at interior Kannur. Ansiya’s father drives auto rickshaw to earn money for the family.
ASK supported her treatment costs.
Adithyan Prakashan
Adithyan Prakashan, a teenager suffers from cerebral palsy. He has difficulty walking. He underwent a complex orthopedic procedure to help improve his gait at Aster Medcity.
His father who is also differently abled, works as a salesman. He is the only earning member of the family.
The family lives in a meager abode in interior Ernakulam. ASK supported significantly of his treatment costs.
Muhammed Zayan
Muhammed Zayan’s father is cab driver. His paycheck is often abysmal. 1-year-old Zayan is a liver transplant survivor. The tot now developed a disorder of his white blood cells and was admitted at Aster Medcity, Kochi.
His treatment was funded in part by ASK Foundation.
Peyusha Raju
Families with multiple ailing members is very tragic. The situation becomes grim when the children suffer from complex diseases.
Peyusha Raju, a 15-year-old who had undergone liver tranplantation was admitted for at Aster for medical stabilisation and blood sugar control.
Her father suffers from arthritis and is out of work. Her mother works at an ‘Akshaya centre’.
ASK Supported Peyusha’s treatment costs.
Hiba Mehar
Hiba Mehar, a 16-year-old girl feel into the grips of liver failure and was advised to undergo a liver transplant. They family lives on a partly constructed house at Palakkad.
To pay for Hiba’s treatment the family pledged their property with a scheduled bank. Social workers from their hometown helped them crowd fund her treatment expenses. A large sum was provided from ASK Foundation.
