Master Vijay, a 12-year-old orphan boy resides at Capernaum Orphanage not very far from Aster. He started to have episodes of drowsiness and abnormal movements. ASK facilitated medical intervention for him at Aster Medcity. He was evaluated and treated by our efficient Pediatric Neurology team.
Divith V M
Divith V M, a 1-year-old baby boy was admitted at Aster Medcity with advanced liver disease. He required costly medical management. The joint family lives on 4 cents of land at an interior part of Thrissur district. His father an electrician, provides for the family on his sole income.
ASK made a sizeable donation to support Divith's treatment.
Abhiram
Abhiram, a 2-year-old, accidental aspirated a tiny Bengal gram. The foreign body went through his air pipes leading to a collapse of his left lung. The child was admitted at Aster Medcity and the gram was retrieved.
He suffered from pneumonia due to the collapsed lung. His family are fisher folk and the treatment costs were expensive to bear.
ASK Supported them financially and Abhiram was cured.
Dewan Hafeez
3-year-old Dewan Hafeez was admitted at Medcity with a congenital hernia, and he had a surgical repair at Aster Medcity. The child has developmental issues too. He has regular therapy sessions with Aster's Neurodevelopmental clinic which is being supported by ASK.
The treatment costs were expensive for his parents to bear. He is father is an Imam and is the only earner in their family. ASK Supported them financially.
Mariyam Nishad
Mariyam Nishad, a 9-month-old baby girl was admitted at Medcity with clots forming in her brain and had to undergo surgery. The treatment was costly and beyond the family's budget. Her family lives off a 5-cent property at Alappuzha. Her father is a tour guide getting meager income and is the only breadwinner of the family.
Aster Sick Kids foundation supported them financially.
Aman Ali Ahammad
Aman Ali Ahammad, 6-year-old boy is the son of an Ice Cream seller. The boy suffers from a tumour on the bone of his left leg. The child underwent a costly radio frequency ablation for treatment of the same. The expenses were colossal for the family to bear.
Aster Sick Kids foundation generously supported the child's treatment costs.
Seira Praveen
Seira Praveen, 2-year-old girl is the daughter of painter from Edyakunnam, Kochi, She was admitted at Aster Medcity with seizures and aspiration pneumonia. She had to undergo costly medical management at our Pediatric Intensive Services.
ASK supported more than half of the treatment costs.
Feyruza Binth Althani
Feyruza Binth Althani, a1-year-old baby was admitted at Aster Medcity Kochi with Tethered spinal cord with transitional Lipoma. She underwent a complex surgery for the same.
Her father works at a juicery and his monthly earnings are meager. The family stays in an ordinary home.
