Meanwhile measures to enroll them in Govt supported Mittayi programme has started they needed immediate help.

As part of school reopening initive of ASK for the children of Government UP School Kottuvally, on 23rd May 2023, mother of a second standerd child Aadhi Krishna approached us with tears and asked us that whether I could recall her face. I recalled my memory for a while but could not memorize.
Then she explained the story of her delivery of tripplet babies she was carrying 7 years back. Unfortunately two of the babies didnot survive and only one child came in to life.

A 17 yr old boy with Type 1 diabetes who is on follow up with us has been having extreme financial constraints to get necessary glucose strips for testing and providing him insulin four times a day.
He got admitted with us in Diabetic ketoacidosis, ASK and hospital management immensely supported them by wholeheartedly reducing the charges.
They are from a background where mother needs to borrow money even to visit our OPD.
The boy in one of the recent visits expressed his suicidal thoughts to me the reason being his chronic illness and helplessness of mother needing to ask money to everyone.
Meanwhile measures to enroll them in Govt supported Mittayi programme has started they needed immediate help.
I called Mr Latheef, ASK and immediately he responded knowing their hardships and ASK has already transferred amounts to support him wth insulin, glucometer and strips for next 7 months

As part of school reopening initive of ASK for the children of Government UP School Kottuvally, on 23rd May 2023, mother of a second standerd child Aadhi Krishna approached us with tears and asked us that whether I could recall her face. I recalled my memory for a while but could not memorize.
Then she explained the story of her delivery of tripplet babies she was carrying 7 years back. Unfortunately two of the babies didnot survive and only one child came in to life.
One of the boys who recieved school re opening kit from us Master Aadhi Krishna was that survivo. The mother find it difficult to express her feelings through words to express her gratitude towards ASK foundation and Aster Medicity Pedeatric team.
