Master Devesh A, 4-year-old, boy was brought to Aster Medcity with a congenital heart condition called Atrial Septal Defect. He underwent a keyhole-based device closure of the same under the capable hands of Pediatric Cardiologist par excellence, Dr. Amitoz Singh Baidwan at Aster Medcity. He is a child of divorce and is being raised by his grandparents and single mother. His Grandfather's pension is the only income for this family.

The family lives off a small property in Ponnani and is supported by his father, a painter. Aster DM Foundation supported the child’s treatment costs.

Her mother, a tailor and uncle, a foreman at construction sites together contribute to their family income.
