Dr. Paramveer Sing (Paediatric Cardiologist) diagnosed the disease and suggested surgical intervention. The baby got discharged with good health and ready to spend rest of his life playing with his family and little friends at Lagos. The baby's parents were hailing from a very poor financial background and they found it very difficult to provide proper treatment to their child. His father Mr. Abiya was an old cloth seller in the street and was earning hardly an income to meet their daily means. In this situation they came to know Dr. Azad Moopan' s (Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare) philanthropic activities and they contacted through mail and presented their helpless situation.
He directed them to Aster Medcity for the treatment of Baby. Ifeayin Emmanuel Abiya totally free of cost through his philanthropic arm Aster DM Foundation and sponsored the treatment through Aster Sick Kids (ASK) Foundation. Dr. Paramveer Sing (Paediatric Cardiologist) diagnosed the disease and suggested surgical intervention. The surgery Bidirectional Glenn shunt with Atrial septectomy was performed by the senior Paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. Sajan Koshy. The baby got discharged with good health and ready to spend rest of his life playing with his family and little friends at Lagos. We wish the little Ifeayin a bright future to lead his life and become a model citizen .
