It is hard to find a self-respecting Indian Citizen who does not like cricket. It is equally hard not to find a child and grownups alike not enjoying a game of cricket in the evening after school and work. Rain or shine cricket is unites us all.
13-year-old, Sreehari loves cricket with all his heart. Every day after school he runs out to play a quick game with his close circle of friends. During one such game Sree met with an accident. He was struck by a bat on his head. Following the injury, the boy started to have seizures. He was brought to Aster Medcity where a CT scan was done. Sree had sustained a skull fracture and had bleeding in his brain. The Indian auto driver’s populace have been providing service to the sick and elderly. They stay up nights to be available to chauffeur in times of dire need. However, despite all their hard work they're poorly compensated and find it difficulty often to make ends meet. One such is Bipin. He strives to support his family consisting of his son Nithin, his ageing parents and an elder brother. They reside in a rented home at Kothamangalam.
His 1-year old baby boy Nithin was born with a disorder that made the muscles in his body weak. Little Nithin has been vomiting and aspirating his food causing him to suffer from pneumonia. The child was admitted to the Paediatric Intensive Care service at Aster Medcity following a bout of pneumonia. ASK reached out to Bipin and supported the cost of his son's treatment.

In India, it is estimated that every 3 of 1000 live births are born with cerebral palsy. They're unable to walk or stand without support and without rehabilitation remain confined to a bed. These children through good medical care can be made functional and many of them even do vocations.
Mohammed Nafih, a 6-year-old, was born with Cerebral Palsy. He stays with parents and grandparents in a rented home in rural Kerala. They came to the attention of ASK at a pediatric medical camp conducted by us. We donated a CP chair for him. Little Mohammed can now explore the world.
