Minha Fathima
Minha Fathima, a 4-year-old developed a serious infection which spread in her blood causing sepsis. She was treated and cured by our Pediatric Intensive Care services at Aster Medcity.
Her parents are warehouse workers and dialysis technicians found her treatment expenses difficult to bear. They were supported by Aster Sick Kids Foundation
Ashwin
11-year-old, Ashwin was at the PICU at Medcity. He was very ill with multi organ dysfunction. After a long hard battle he was completely cured.
His father, an unskilled laborer is the sole employee in the family. ASK supported Ashwin’s treatment at Aster Medcity
Ahmmed Faizy
Ahmmed Faizy, a 6-year-old boy suffers from Beta Thalassaemia. He was treated at Aster Medcity Cochin and had a long stay at our PICU.
His siblings were also affected by the same disease and are undergoing blood transfusion once every 3 weeks. He is scheduled to undergo a bone Marrow transplant in the near future.
His father drives a corporation van that collects garbage.
ASK provided a huge amount of money to support his treatment.
Adhinath
Auto-drivers have tough time in India. They fight the heat, traffic and sometimes even their beloved customers to make their ends meet. Access to state of the art health care for them is unimaginable.
7-year-old, Adhinath an auto drivers son was admitted at Medcity. He got an infection that had spread across his body to all his vital organs.
ASK supported his treatment costs at Aster Medcity and he is back to normal life.
Abhinav H
Abhinav H has battled blood cancer for the last 9 years. The family has spent over 18 lakhs in various centers across the Kerala.However, there was no end in sight for the family run by his unskilled father and grandfather.
Abhinav underwent a successful bone marrow transplant at Aster Medcity by our Clinical Hematology service. His treatment was supported financially by ASK Foundation.
Malavika
Chidren sometimes miss school days due to fever. Teachers and parents often scold them for excuses.
Febrile illness in children can sometimes be a challenge for the treating doctor.
Malavika, a 9-year-old was treated at Aster Medcity's Paediatric Intesive care with high grade fever. She was healed through rigourous care.
Malavika’s folks come from very meager circumstances. Her father’s job at a printing press wasn’t enough to support her treatment financially.

Edgar Sojan
Road traffic accidents are on rise in Kochi. *
The bad state of the roads and erratic road rage contributes to this. 2-year-old, Edgar Sojan was admitted at Aster's pedeatric ICU following a road traffic accident.
His parents were victims too and were admitted at Rajagiri hospital, Aluva .
ASK supported Edgar’s entire hospital bills with aid from online crowd funding.
Varsha
3-month-old, baby of Varsha, was admitted with severe lung disease at our Pediatric Intensive Care services at Aster Medcity Kochi .
She was treated and made better. The father is an electrician.
ASK took care of the child’s treatment costs.
